ABOUT THE PROGRAM
There are three Free-Go units with cabinets located in the community center, the dormitories, and the student services offices. The original goal of the FreeGo stations was to reduce food waste, but the project quickly evolved into a campus food security initiative. These stations take advantage of leftovers from the university’s various food services and also serve as a distribution point for Moisson Saguenay.
